APPLY FOR THE 2017 BRIGHT IDEA SOCIETY

Does your STEM club or classroom have a Bright Idea they would like to share?

The Bright Idea Society annual award recognizes three Science & Engineering classrooms or clubs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Each winning club or school is awarded a $500 stipend and a 10x20 booth at the Biocom Institute’s Festival of Science & Engineering’s EXPO Day, to showcase their ideas to thousands of Festival attendees of all ages. Winning teams also receive Bright Idea Society t-shirts.

IT’S EASY TO APPLY: Just click the link below and tell us your Bright Idea and how you would create an interactive experiment or exhibit to display to thousands of STEM enthusiasts at our 2017 Expo Day. Any teacher or advisor with a STEM-related classroom or club may apply.

AWARDS:
One winner at each level is selected to receive a $500 stipend for supply material costs as well as a 10x20’ booth (with electricity) at EXPO DAY to display their project in a hands-on, interactive way. Students and teachers also receive the Bright Idea Society t-shirts.

In addition,  the three winning science/engineering clubs will receive special recognition on stage at Expo Day along with a proclamation during Festival Week at City Hall.
