This year we are very excited to announce that Microsoft will host a unique and exciting experience at the 2015 Expo Day on Saturday, March 21st. The “Second Hour of Code” aims to be the largest mass coding event ever attempted!
Help us break a Guinness Book World Record by participating in the largest K-12 coding event in one location. Live from the Dugout Stage at 1:00 p.m. Bring your smart phone or tablet!
The first 500 students to complete the coding exercise will receive the exclusive 2nd Hour of Code T-shirt.
At 1:00pm a Microsoft Executive will lead a coding lesson on the video screen that is interactive and compatible with any smart phone or device. Classrooms receiving We Love STEM Grants funding for transportations to Expo Day will be required to fill the stadium seats starting at 12:00 pm to participate in the workshop. It’s a great opportunity to have lunch and learn something awesome! General seating will be available for Expo Day attendees and the feed will also be live on the Illlumina Discovery Stage facing Park at the Park.
