The San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering is proud to announce our latest initiative to support STEM education, the We Love STEM program!
We Love STEM in its former state (Adopt-a-School) gave teachers the opportunity to apply for bus transportation to a Festival Week event or EXPO Day. The redevelopment of this program allows teachers to apply for costs, whether that be transportation or associated admissions, for a STEM related field during the entire month of March, which is STEM Education month. In addition it allows for teachers to apply for classroom supplies and materials to support a STEM related project two times per year, once in the spring (March) and once in the fall (September).
FY15 Grant Timeline:
Spring 2015:
Teachers may apply for funding for transportation and admissions for one (1) STEM related field trip
(using a bus for transportation to the 2015 Expo Day counts as one annual field trip)
Teachers may apply for funding for classroom supplies and materials to support one (1) STEM related project.
