This booth will feature textile print designs that are inspired by imagery from Scientists at the Salk Institute. Students transformed the original scientific imagery art into repeat patterns for fabric.

The Cox IP Packet Racer depicts how packets of information blast through Cox’s Gigablast fiber optic network from one point to the other! Participants will build their own “IP Packets” (similar to wooden derby cars) and race them on Cox’s High Speed Internet network. Participants will be able to decorate their “IP Packets” before racing them down the track. This fun and interactive activity helps kids learn about science and engineering concepts.

Every second counts in cardiac arrest, which can happen at any time. Each year, more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States. When a person has a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately receiving CPR. Unfortunately, about 90 percent of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests die.
