The Nat will be bringing some animal specimens from our collection and will have some fun nature games that are great for all ages! This will be interactive and great for all ages! The takeaway message will be about the conservation of nature in our region.

Hands-on reptile interactions.

SDCDM provides interactive and hands-on mobile exhibits encouraging little ones to engineer, experiment, and explore. Experiment with gravity, build something new and let your imagination run wild with large foam blocks.

Visitors will engage in robot races using Lego robots that our students created. Visitors will also learn about electricity and circuits, lighting up bulbs and fans using playdouugh (Squishy Circuits).

Come learn from architects how to design, draw and visualize your design in 2D and 3D. Bring your imagination and experience our booth featuring design technology and software, virtual reality and building blocks. All ages welcome.

An interactive booth where folks make a pledge for conservation while contributing to a community art piece. Educators from the Zoo and Safari Park will be available to discuss SDZWA global conservation work and how it connects to our everyday lives in San Diego.

We would love to run a LEGO STEM activity for the booth. We would have a few types of catapults made completely of LEGO that kids can use to try to make a projectile into different baskets. We can discuss the potential energy that is released via a spring. We will also have a lever actioned catapult that will launch the projectile based on the force from the kid on the lever.
