Temporary tattoos, other giveaways will be available.
Fun for all at a benchtop demonstration of all things chemistry. Our “Mad Scientist” lab instructor will be guiding interactive demonstrations of color and sight, as we explore the chemical reactions between acids and bases. Volunteers will teach and guide students through the demonstration, alongside educational posters and contests for pH prediction. Prizes and giveaways will be available for students.

Learn about one of the most important items found in science laboratories! Pipettes are handheld devices that allow scientists all over the world to perform precise liquid measurements. From diagnosing diseases to developing cures, these pipettes are a vital instrument for many scientists. At our Biotix booth, you will have the chance to experiment with measuring and transferring different liquids using high-quality pipettes, just like scientists do in laboratories!
It takes true community spirit and engagement to build a successful Festival Week and momentum to support ongoing programs. Our mission is to provide meaningful year-round STEAM experiences for youth and adults alike in San Diego, and throughout the state of CA through our virtual platform.
