The booth will focus on robotics and engineering with the use of Lego components. Students will use different components and learn how STEM is applied to each lego project that is used. Students will also be able to manipulate different projects with the use of block coding to have the lego build perform different functions. At the the booth, students will be exposed to video game design and the behind the scenes on how games come to life with the use of programming and coding.
A look at the design and manufacturing of composite aerospace products with focus on our key product line: nacelles (the structure that surrounds an airplane's engines).
1. Liquid Density Experiment which will have a poster describing what density is and an experiment to compare the densities of common household liquids by using liquid droppers to stack the different liquids in conical tubes.
2. Process Modeling Visualizations which will have computer visualizations of process models used in BP.
Visitors will enjoy a number of exciting hands-on bio-tech and life science activities geared for children (and adults) of all ages. Learn from, and meet, employees of the world leader in serving science, Thermo Fisher Scientific.
