Hike Eagle Peak Preserve & Practice Citizen Science!

Sat, Mar 09 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

This is your chance to be one of the few lucky people to explore the beautiful open space of Eagle Peak Preserve, a 1152 acre conservation area owned by the San Diego River Park Foundation! This area is normally not open to the public, but for River Kids Discovery Days, we will be taking a special group on a guided hike of this special space! Take in the breathtaking views of the San Diego River Gorge, explore the expansive open space, and practice citizen science!

Hikers also have the option of participating in a BioBlitz, which is a biological survey that helps us record all living species within a designated area in our Preserve! Those who help with the BioBlitz can get community service hours verified.
