We create an interactive and educational environment through hands-on STEM opportunities: DNA extraction, centrifuge activities, and more! Additionally, in the College and Career Pavilion, we allow students to engage with representatives who can outline and assist with post-high school options.

Leidos - Security Enterprise Solutions
The Leidos SES booth will present a brief overview of x-rays and radiation, how they interact with matter, and how they are detected. We’ll explain how the science is used by Leidos in some simple PowerPoint slides. We’ll have an interactive demo showing how cosmic rays are detected, and show the different response from an x-ray source.

We will conduct a science experiment, have a trivia contest for prizes and educate attendees regarding the dangers of fentanyl.

KPBS Kids
KPBS Kids events across the county consist of special visits by your favorite KPBS Kids television characters, story times, and hands-on activities that connect to program educational themes. Visit us to explore fun science, math, and literacy activities for the whole family, and learn how you can meet Super Why, Curious George, Clifford, Daniel Tiger, Molly of Denali, and other KPBS Kids friends at the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum and other locations this year!
SDCOE
The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is committed to ensuring that every student has access and opportunities to thrive and learn in the classroom and beyond. As part of that effort, SDCOE regularly connects students and educators across the region with industry partners so they can explore high-wage, high-growth careers and plan for their future success. SDCOE's booth will feature hands-on activities from the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters and the Electrical Training Institute apprenticeships.
American Physical Therapy Association
Students will help complete lifesize puzzles of the human skeletal and muscular systems to learn about human anatomy and movement.
Think Blue San Diego/City of San Diego's Stormwater Department
The Think Blue activation would showcase SWEEP-E -- the City of San Diego's first 100% electric mini street sweeper -- and give attendees the opportunity to climb behind the wheel. Giveaways would include SWEEP-E stickers and coloring pages/crayons for younger students. Older students with phones will be asked to take an educational stormwater quiz (via a QR code) in order to spin a wheel to win a prize (lunch boxes, dog bags, pet bowls, water bottles, etc.)
